Here at Childfirst Welbeck we have a perfectly-sized baby room which can hold up to nine babies in any one day. Our space is made up of various different areas to help with the development of every child that we care for. We are always happy, smiling and ready to give the best cuddles ever! We also love singing nursery rhymes, reading under our reading tree and getting messy and creative in our sand and water play area.

Our baby space is free-flowing onto our own private garden which has a lovely shaded area and a variety of activities. The babies love playing in the mud kitchen, riding small bikes and exploring. All of these activities are an important part of holistic development and keep our children happy and active. We promote sensory play which teaches children to solve problems with their senses, an important life skill which is so much fun!

Our small world offers the opportunity for babies to build on their communication and language skills. We have a home-from-home corner that makes a comfortable and relaxing experience where the children can develop their social skills while playing together. Under our reading tree the children have the perfect opportunity to look at books and sing songs together, contributing to their speech development.
